Our Senior Care Mission

Our team’s mission is to provide appropriate and senior care solutions for the adult children and senior population of the families we serve, such as financial assistance, eldercare referrals, and timely resources for our clients. We serve to support your family using our experience and training that only a senior care specialist can provide your family.

We hope that you find respite in working with us and that our team of senior care experts can alleviate many of the obstacles and demands facing your family daily when you’re looking for a safe, reliable, and appropriate living facility or in-home care for your parents, yourself, or spouse whether that’s memory care, assisted living, a continuing care retirement community, skilled nursing care, or independent living.

Lynn works to assist her clients in facing the many strenuous care decisions. Whether it be exploring senior living options, finding resources to pay for care, direct you to the appropriate community services, or help your family understand your care choices. She is available to share her network of senior care professionals, making your experience more manageable and less stressful.

She has been in the business of caring for and assisting others from the very start of her career in her early 20s. Her first job was in the field of environmental testing. At the age of 24, Lynn began her entrepreneurial journey working with her clients to give advice and assistance in their alternative health journeys.

Lynn then went back to school for her undergraduate and graduate degree, starting her career as a Middle School Science and Coding teacher. Lynn became an accredited AVID science teacher, serving underprivileged children in her Title 1 school in Florida, giving them the extra support they needed to achieve admission into college. With her love of technology and coding, Lynn returned to school, achieved another graduate degree in Educational Technology and was certified as an Apple and Google Technology Teacher.

While teaching, Lynn found that students needed more of the essential soft skills such as how to study, successful test taking, time management, organization, and goal setting. She set out to fill that gap by creating Academic Success - a program to teach middle school children how to be successful students and adults. Her principal found the value in her curriculum and gave her the role of setting up and instructing her program to her peers school-wide. Academic Success became a weekly class and served over 900 students teaching them critical foundational soft skills to be successful.

In her personal life, Lynn understands being in the middle of a sandwich generation. She built an in-law apartment for her parents to care for them after they were both diagnosed with cancer within one year of each other. Her mother was first diagnosed in 2001 with breast cancer; her father was diagnosed in 2002 with adenocarcinoma. At 29, Lynn found herself going to school full-time to get her undergraduate degree while caring for her two children, ages six and three while caring for her terminally-ill parents.

For the next six years, Lynn - an only child - relied on the assistance and support of friends to get her through this emotional, physical, and spiritually stressful time. Without the aid and support of her circle of friends to pick up her children, make dinner for her family, and assist in the caretaking of her parents, she would not have been able to make it through this tough and trying time in her life.

Today, Lynn works closely with other sandwich generation adult children who are on similar journeys. She understands the taxing task of being a caretaker when you have a role reversal with your parents.

When Lynn isn’t working with her clients on assisting them in their eldercare journey, she is building experimental aircraft, authoring books, producing podcasts, traveling, watching an episode of The Witcher, Star Trek, or Star Wars, researching Pompeii, growing olive trees on her farm in McMinnville, painting, learning tarot, studying Buddhism, playing outdoors, romping with her grand furbaby Minnow (an 80 pound German Shepherd), and snuggling her cats Hemmingway and Jack.
